Family Dollar Coupon Policy

The Family Dollar Coupon Policy says that you can stack Family Dollar Coupons and Manufacturer’s Coupons which is the best way to save!  They do not accept Competitor’s Coupons and only accept coupons for “free” items when a purchased is required. There are also no overages according to the Family Dollar Coupon Policy and if the barcode is invalid or will not scan, the coupon will not be accepted automatically.
You can print out Family Dollar Coupons and take them to the store to stack with Manufacturer’s Coupons.

Family Dollar Stores, Inc. Coupon Policy
Family Dollar accepts Manufacturer’s and Family Dollar issued coupons
(including internet coupons) that meet these requirements:
Coupons must be original (no photocopies)
Coupons must have a scan-able barcode or valid promotion code
Coupons must have a printed expiration date
Coupons can be redeemed only for items sold at Family Dollar, and can
be redeemed only for the exact same item (package weight, size, etc.)
Coupons for free items are only accepted if a purchase is required to get
one free
Maximum of two coupons per item. One coupon must be a Manufacturer’s
Coupon and the second coupon must be a Family Dollar Coupon as long
as neither coupon states that it is not valid with other coupons
Family Dollar will NOT accept coupons that:
Are from other retailers
Are expired
Are internet coupons without a scan-able barcode and/or promotion code
Contain the combination of an invalid barcode that won’t scan and
promotion code that the register will not accept
Are for “free” items, unless a purchase is required (i.e. Buy one get one
free is acceptable)
Do not have a “remit to:” address on the coupon

In addition:
“Cash Back” will not be issued if the value of the coupon is greater than
the purchase price of the item.

Dollar General Coupon Policy

The Dollar General Coupon Policy states that they accept two coupons per item. One must be a Dollar General Coupon and one must be a Manufacturer’s Coupon which is called Coupon Stacking. You will be able to get the most savings when you use can use both coupons on one item!
Another important issue in the  Dollar General Coupon Policy is that they will not give Cash Back on an item if the value of the coupons exceeds the value of the item. This mean you will be able to get items for Free,  but you cannot get overage. Dollar General also does not accept Competitor’s Coupons since they have their own coupons you can print.
It is always a good idea to print out and take the policy with you in case you have any trouble at the register.

Dollar Tree Coupon Policy

Dollar Tree is now accepting Coupons starting 8/26/2012, so here is the Dollar Tree Coupon Policy plus more information on shopping with coupons at Dollar Tree. They will not accept coupons that are for Buy 1, Get 1 Free items. Dollar Tree will not not take coupons for “free” items or coupons that the store’s associate has to write in a price. They also will not accept competitor’s coupons and they will not give cash back. This means that if your coupons value is greater than the price of the item that you are purchasing, you cannot get overage and the price will be adjusted to $0. You are allowed to use 2 Internet Printable Manufacturer’s Coupons per transaction and 1 coupon per item. All coupons must have a valid expiration date and the bar code must scan or they will not be taken at the register. They also need to exactly match the item that you wish to purchase.

Some of the Dollar Tree stores will not start accepting coupons until September so I suggest calling your local store and asking when they will start! Hopefully I will have a printable Dollar Tree Coupon Policy that you can print out soon, so check back!
